The Cisco 7100 Series VPN Router provides best-in-class virtual private network (VPN) services by combining the strength of Cisco 7000 Series features with Cisco IOSŪ Software network services. The recent addition of Cisco 7200-based WAN CPE bundles (Cisco 7204 VXR/CPE, see http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/cc/pd/rt/7200/) for service provider CPE and enterprise WAN edge environments provide customers a new price/performance combination that is highly competitive in the WAN CPE market. Furthermore, the Cisco 7200 WAN CPE bundles provide additional expansion capabilities relative to the Cisco 7100, such as multiple port adapter (PA) slots, modular processor, and I/O subsystem.
