DuaLine Plus D56K

Eliminate customer complaints about slow Internet connectivity: The D56K delivers true 56 Kbps (V.90) connectivity

Charles, the first company to introduce 56 Kbps copper relief, presents the DuaLine Plus™ D56K. Multiplexing two 64 Kbps Clear channel POTS lines and transporting them over a single twisted pair, the D56K utilizes noiseless, low power HDSL (2B1Q) line coding. The digital subscriber line (DSL) is then demultiplexed at the Remote Terminal (RT), providing two POTS lines.

Features

  • 56K (V.90) modem support on BOTH Line 1 and Line 2
  • Universal interface (TR-57) eliminates the need for a direct digital interface to the switch
  • Fully backward compatible with Charles 300 series shelves and DuaLine Plus™ RTs
  • 18 Kft nominal range on single twisted pair
  • Enhanced Pre-Provisioning (EPREP) for easy one person turn-up of additional lines
  • CLASS® services compatible
  • Fail-to-POTS option
  • 4TEL or MLT line testing signatures
  • OSMINE compliant
  • Spectrally compatible with ISDN, HDSL, HDSL2 and ADSL
  • Patent pending technology
