Telecom: 12:1 Multi-line System Mulitplexer

12 Lines over existing twisted pair: Expand customer service to a range of up to 100 Kft without the expense of installing copper

The 12:1 Multi-Line System multiplexes 12 64 Kbps Clear channel POTS lines and transports them over a single twisted pair utilizing noiseless, low power 2B1Q line coding. These POTS lines can be demultiplexed along the drop using Add/Drop Units (A/D) or at the end using either a Remote Terminal (RT) RT12 or a 2 line Add/Drop End Unit (A/DE)

The 12:1 Multi-Line System transports CLASS® services to distances of up to 100 Kft from the Central Office (CO) or Digital Loop Carrier (DLC) to the customer premises.

  • OSMINE compliant
  • Compatible with V.34 modem speeds
  • Flexible configuration
  • Replaces analog carrier systems 82A and CM8
  • NEBS Level 3 certified (CO equipment)
  • UL approved
  • CSA certified
