The Summit 400 family of stackable switches from Extreme Networks consisting of
the Summit 400-48t, Summit 400-24t, and the Summit 400-24p, is designed to meet
the performance and availability requirements of today's high-performance
networks that require Gigabit Ethernet connectivity. Delivering enhanced
resiliency and reduced latency to support converged applications like IP
telephony, video and wireless LAN, and with optional Power over Ethernet (PoE)
for LAN powered devices, the Summit 400 family is ready to support the evolving
LAN.
The Summit 400 family was designed from the ground up to support converged
LAN applications with exceptional quality of service (QoS), low latency,
exceptional resiliency, line-rate performance and PoE for the full range of
