The Sentriant family of security products provides

- Virtualized Security Resources (VSRs)—the network participates in the
overall security system by detecting events and enforcing policy, and creating
virtualized resources to handle the security needs
- Cost Effective—VSRs allow network administrators to increase the
reach of security coverage for the same cost as link-by-link protection using
traditional inline resources
- High Availablity—since security appliances are not inline, a much
higher level of availability can be designed into the network
