3Com Switch 7700

The 3Com Switch 7700 modular LAN switch delivers high performance, multilayer, Gigabit and Fast Ethernet switching and routing in an integrated platform. Business continuity for data and voice convergence applications is assured in demanding core and campus environments.

Two chassis variations are offered: the Switch 7700R 8-slot chassis capable of running a high-availability redundant switch fabric; and the Switch 7700 7-slot chassis for other installations. Starter Kits for both come with the respective chassis and preinstalled switch fabric, management module, power supply, and fan tray. A redundant fabric is an option available for the Switch 7700R 8-slot chassis. Other options include redundant power supplies, numerous I/O switching modules, SFP's, GBICs, and spares.
