This 3-foot (1-meter) SMA coaxial cable adapter is used to attach an external
antenna to the 3ComŽ 11 Mbps Wireless LAN Workgroup Bridge (3CRWE83096A). A 3Com
6-Foot Antenna Cable (3CWE480) is required with this product: the cable serves
as the connection between the cable adapter and the external antenna. The cable
adapter must be installed by a professional technician or installer.
The
cable adapter requires 3ComŽ 11 Mbps Wireless LAN Workgroup Bridge firmware
version 1.5 or newer to operate. The firmware can be downloaded for free from
the 3Com web site product support page.
