The 3Com® Network Jack NJ90 is a low-cost, unmanaged switch that mounts in the wall, expanding one LAN wall outlet into four Fast Ethernet network connections. It increases the number of network ports available at the desktop—without the cost and inconvenience of running additional cables through walls and ceilings. Priced attractively, one 3Com Network Jack NJ90 costs a fraction of what you would spend on installing and activating four additional lines using Category 5 or 5e cabling.

Historical buildings, solid-wall structures, and sites with asbestos insulation are great candidates for the network jack. Installed in a standard wall cutout, it's an elegant and reliable alternative to a freestanding switch, with significantly less risk of theft or damage. Different power options are available to meet a variety of installation needs, including a local AC power adapter and industry-standard 802.3af-compatible Power over Ethernet delivered over existing network cabling.

The Network Jack NJ90 is available in cream. Multi-packs are also available.
