Innovative "In the Wall" Switches for Network Growth
Particularly suitable for older or hard-to-wire structures, 3Com® Network Jacks and IntelliJack™ switches provide a cost-saving way to expand LAN-port connectivity in almost any network environment.
Used to quickly replace an existing single port LAN wall outlet, delivering four switched ports where before there was one, they are ideal for small-office or enterprise businesses, government offices, dormitories, hospitals, classrooms, laboratories, public kiosks, conference rooms, and shared office spaces.

These models are designed to work in countries following US-standard wall cut-outs, including the US, Canada, Latin America and Italy:
- A 4-port "in the wall" switch with management capabilities and enhanced security features, the 3Com IntelliJack Switch 220 offers 10/100 Mbps switching, pass-through ports, Power over Ethernet support, and power forwarding.
- A 4-port "in the wall" switch with management capabilities, the 3Com Network Jack NJ200 offers 10/100 Mbps switching, pass-through ports, Power over Ethernet support, and power forwarding.
- For an unmanaged "in the wall" connectivity solution that provides the same 10/100 Mbps switching, pass-through ports, Power over Ethernet support, and power forwarding, the 3Com IntelliJack Switch NJ100 is available.
- The 3Com Network Jack NJ90 provides unmanaged "in the wall" switching for highly economical four-way port expansion.
- For countries following UK- and EU-standard wall cut-out standards, including UK, Germany, France, and much of the Middle East, the following IntelliJack Switch models are available:
- The 3Com IntelliJack Switch NJ225 offers managed 10/100 Mbps switching, IEEE 802.1X network login and IEEE 802.1Q VLANs for enhanced security and manageability, pass-through ports, Power over Ethernet support, and power forwarding.
- The 3Com IntelliJack Switch NJ225 FX-SC offers managed 10/100 Mbps switching, IEEE 802.1X network login and IEEE 802.1Q VLANs for enhanced security and manageability, Power over Ethernet forwarding, and 100BASE-FX uplinks with SC connectors.
- The 3Com IntelliJack Switch NJ225 FX-ST offers managed 10/100 Mbps switching, IEEE 802.1X network login and IEEE 802.1Q VLANs for enhanced security and manageability, Power over Ethernet forwarding, and 100BASE-FX uplinks with ST connectors.
- For an unmanaged "in the wall" connectivity solution that provides the same 10/100 Mbps switching, pass-through ports, Power over Ethernet support, and power forwarding, the 3Com IntelliJack Switch NJ105 is available.
- The 3Com IntelliJack Switch NJ205, a previous generation model, offers managed 10/100 Mbps switching, pass-through ports, Power over Ethernet support, and power forwarding.
All 3Com Network Jacks and IntelliJack switches are IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet-compliant (because of its fiber uplinks, the NJ225 FX only forwards power) and require either a Power over Ethernet or local AC power source.
